Our Story




 In 1957 Wilton Sankey began working in Austin, TX servicing air compressor and automotive service equipment for a company.  In 1964 he purchased and moved the company to San Antonio.  Over the next few years Mr. Sankey's family grew, as did the business.  Now Located on the corner of Josephine and Broadway,  Mr. Sankey's knowledge and Mechanical Abilities helped make him San Antonio, Austin, and south Texas' premiere service and Equipment supplier for automotive service equipment.  In 1985 the Company made the move downtown to our 925 AVE B address where it was located for the next 30 years.  Continuing to grow and expand our service area and service team, in 2016 we made the move again to try and improve our ways to serve our customers by doubling the size of our parts warehouse and New equipment inventory.  We are continuing to grow and hone our service team and operations.  We have proudly continuously serviced the Central Texas, Greater San Antonio, Hill Country, Medina Valley, Rio Grande Valley and the Coastal Bend region.

Mr. John Sankey has helped lead Sankey Equipment for the last 20 years as company President, prior to that he serviced customers with In-shop service as well as out side service calls, With 40 years of service.

Kelley Dice

Accounts Payable/ Owner

Ms. Kelley Dice plays a crucial role in company decisions and handles factory warranty claims.   She has been with us  40+ years of service.

Accounts Receivable / Owner

Ms. Kathy Clifton handles customer relations in and out of shop, National Account Billing, and can be found helping with day to day operations.

Mr. Sankey  "SANKEY" has proudly been servicing our customers since 1957 starting in Austin, then in 1964 Opening Sankey Equipment Company.  With 61 years of service in the Automotive Equipment industry.

Mr. Jeff Sankey is our primary field service tech. when it comes to Air Compressors and Electrical Controls.
